After that, I wanted to share a few great ideas for Date Nights. If you two are a pair of busy parents then you know that children come first and it can be tricky to get out for Date Night. As much as you’d like some quality ALONE time with your spouse outside of the home, children can sometimes interfere with that. And that’s 100% okay. Nothing to worry about.
Side note: Mother’s Day is coming up and you can purchase a beautiful Mother’s Day gift here with the LoveBook. You can use code: LOVEALWAYS10 for 10% off your purchase.
So, I’ve come up with my top 4 at home date night ideas!
Cook a romantic dinner together and afterwards, watch an old favorite love movie together.
Cooking together is a creative way to spend time together. Most importantly, it’s a great bonding activity and even the children can join in! And re-watching a favorite love movie is a treat and a sweet reminder of your love. Furthermore, I’d advise you to watch your favorite love movie when your littles are in bed to have some quality alone time and reminisce on old memories.
This one is a personal favorite. However, I think this may be best for a special occasion. You can set up the living room and set up a cheese board with a glass of wine. If you are unsure how to paint together, you can watch a few free YouTube tutorials online and take a class together! As a result, it seems like a fun, nice relaxing way to wind down and feel as though you’re on a real date even though you’re at home!

Decorate coffee mugs for each other. It’s the little thoughts that matter most.
Personally as I get ready for all the things I have to do for the day, I like to enjoy a small cup of coffee each morning. So does my husband. Drinking out of a thoughtful mug makes the drink all the more sweeter! Also, it would also make a precious anniversary gift. Don’t underestimate the joy a handmade gift can bring someone.
Do a puzzle together and eat some popcorn.
Putting a puzzle together is a great way to destress and focus on something else for a change. Also, too often we are weary from every day life and we need a change of mindset. However, working on puzzles together could be the perfect distraction and a nice way to spend time together. Even more, I am not fan of complicated puzzles but I can’t speak for my husband. Above all, he would be the most helpful at helping me complete it!
Finally, I hope these marriage at home date night ideas helped give you some insight and inspo on how to make date nights fun!
