Why I chose to blog.
Happy Saturday all. It’s time for yet another Saturday coffee break. Brew your favorite cup of coffee, grab a seat, and settle in for our weekly check in on why I chose to blog.
I’ve been a busy blogger. Today, I wanted to touch base on blogging and why I chose to blog. I haven’t really chatted much about blogging because I’ve been so busy trying to write about all of my favorite subjects. I’ve come to the conclusion that I have chosen to be a blogger so I have lots of time to touch on all of my favorite subjects. I have been a busy bee, blogging, setting up my content, all while being a mom and wife. However, blogging has quickly become one of my favorite subjects to discuss.
First of all, I’ve always been a chatter. As a result, I love to talk and have long, interesting discussions with people. Also, I love to read and write. I mean I LOVE to read and write. Seems like I could read and write all day long! To me, blogging doesn’t feel like work, it feels like a passionate hobby of mine I’ll never stop doing.
I’m sort of an introvert and love to catch up on reading from my favorite authors, which are constantly changing all of the time. Furthermore, I like to write about various different subjects in one of my journals or outlets. Currently, my outlet is my website and also my medium page. After much career choosing, I settled on picking happiness first. I will always write, no matter what because I have been writing all of my life. Becoming a blogger seemed natural for me which is why I chose to blog.
Apart from blogging, planning is yet another passion of mine and you can read more about that in my planner set up blog post. My Planner System 2019.

Choosing to blog certainly took some time.
I know so many different bloggers who decided instantly to blog. I wish I had been as decisive. Alas, I was not. My husband helped me come to this decision after being a stay at home mom for several years.
Just when we thought I was going to go back to work, we decided our little family was not complete yet and we had my youngest. Therefore, I knew I was going to be a stay at home mom for another few years. However, I didn’t really like this decision without being able to work from home. Finally I looked up various options, of course money is always nice but this decision was more for my mental health.
I wanted an outlet and to not solely be just “mom.” I wanted something for myself and I’m not getting any younger!
I love this outlet.
Getting my own website was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only do I have my own platform to write what I want, but also I have occupied my free time. Learning new things every single day at my own pace as a stay at home mom is very refreshing. Being able to create my own posts and write only about the subjects I WANT to discuss is perfect for me. I’ve been doing that all my life in my journals and in short stories I’ve written throughout my life. You can check out what I currently use to journal here What I Use To Journal In
I use WordPress and I really enjoy being able to customize my website with such ease. I love working on this WordPress editor, it’s so easy for me to use and manage especially since I’m not super tech, nor will I ever be. You can get yours here down below. WordPress is the best!
As we’re getting older everyone becomes busy with their careers and often free time is limited. In addition, I like being occupied and learning something new like managing my own website. This has become something I love to do.
Blogging isn’t for everyone.
It really isn’t. Which is fine. But it is for me. I’m so glad I’ve come to this point of my life where I can just go with what I’m feeling and not be easily influenced by others’ opinions of me. Blogging takes time and lots of patience. I’ve learned patience from my experience of being a stay at home mom. This has helped me significantly in blogging.
All in all, I’m very satisfied with my decision to become a blogger. If you have a love and passion for writing, blogging is definitely for you. I mean, seriously if you can’t put the pen and paper down, you’re absolutely made to be a blogger! Even though blogging is tedious and requires a ton of social media time, your love for writing will take over, trust me. I wish you the best of luck on your blogging journey, and if you have any questions feel free to let me know. I’d love to chat and help out!
Till next time,
