Gratitude.

It’s a lovely Saturday and I wanted to focus on today’s topic: Gratitude. Let me start by saying how much I love coffee.

Saturday Coffee Break Gratitude

I mean, I LOVE. Coffee helps me so much. Some days I feel like I have a ton on my plate and drinking some of this delicious warm coffee early in the morning soothes me and focuses my mind. I feel more alert and productive. Certainly, I feel like I can get so many more things checked off my to do list.

But, today is Saturday. I don’t want to chat about a million of productive things to do and accomplish. I just want to check in.

Let’s backtrack a little.

Today let’s be grateful for the little things.

Life can be so hectic and chaotic at times. We’re all trying to do our best in this world and it seems like everywhere we turn, we must get something done. There’s always something that needs to be taken care of or accomplished. Let’s take a moment to BREATHE in and relax. It’s the weekend. Time to recharge and rest up. Nobody can function exhausted. Rest is so necessary. Nor will it ever stop being necessary. We’re human beings not robots.

I’m grateful for everything that God has given me. I feel so blessed because I am. Every day that passes by, I feel I am growing more and more. I have always had a passion for learning new things and I certainly don’t feel like there’s enough time in the day. However that’s a great feeling, to love to learn.

Remind yourself how blessed you are today.

We all have trying days and sometimes even exhausting weeks. Regardless we need to remind ourselves what we have to be grateful for. Such as waking up this morning and being able to spend time with our loved ones. We should not only be celebrating huge accomplishments we make in life, but also the little ones. It’s time to give praise to God for another amazing week and beautiful weekend. Our families are amazing and deserve every ounce of our time. We also need to take care of ourselves as well.

Great Saturday reminder! I too love a good cup of coffee (every morning, not just Saturday), and often have to remind myself to keep my love for coffee in check in order to truly enjoy the things that God has given me – grace, a clean heart, and most of all, hope for the future. Thanks for sharing.
