I’m so excited to let you know I’ve officially published the best self-help book for moms. Not trying to exaggerate but I truly love this self-help book I wrote for moms.
If you’re subscribed, then you’ve already gotten my e-mail but I wanted to just go ahead and post it on Mrsplanahead. This is my first self-help book and I’m so happy it’s finally out!!
It’s been a trying few months in between getting my morning routine down and then all of sudden homeschooling. However, I’m so glad I followed through with finishing up my self-help book and actually getting it out.
Despite these troubling last few weeks, I wanted to publish my book anyway because I’ve been promising my audience that I would finish my book. And I like to keep my word.

This is the best self-help book for moms.
This self-help book is meant for moms struggling with trying to find their purpose in life. Not only that but it’s meant to help you feel not so alone going through your motherhood journey.
Because we all go through that loneliness, at some point or another. And being unhappy as a mom isn’t talked about as often as it should be.
Are you struggling to “feel” happy all of the time? Do you find that you are feeling bad about yourself because you aren’t a happy mom 24/7?
Well, trust me you are not alone. And that’s why I wrote It Takes a Break.
For years I felt alone as a stay at home mom and that’s why I wrote an encouraging self-help book for moms that will hopefully help so many moms out there that are struggling to find their happiness, their light, and shine in this world.
Not too long ago, I was feeling the same exact way. And I share with you in It takes a Break how I overcame that and WHY.
I pray reading this self-help book for moms does help you personally and give you the understanding you are hoping for. Not only that, but I also hope It takes a Break inspires and motivates you to be your absolute best self.
Being a stay at home mom can take a toll on you.
I’m not always going to be the perfect and happy mom. I don’t know why so many people expect us to be.
Just because we are at home doesn’t mean we are constantly happy. It doesn’t mean that we are fulfilled, satisfied, and everything is going just swell for us each and every day.
And even though some days it can be so hard, we literally are SUPER MOMS. We are super moms who do our job raising our awesome children every single day.
It’s tough being a stay at home mom that has patience all of the time. We are taking care of our littles and it sure can get emotionally draining.
Patience takes time and years to develop all the way and some of us moms don’t naturally have that. Because we love our kids so much, we become patient.
When you have your firstborn child, you don’t really know how becoming a mother will change you and your life completely. You expect things to change but when they actually do change, you may find yourself feeling overwhelmed.
It’s important to have a support system in place whenever you’re feeling down. Being a mom is life-changing and dealing with it all on your own can be too much.
As a stay at home mom, I struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety. In It Takes a Break, I mention how I dealt with this throughout my motherhood journey.
Not just that but I explain how I overcame all the negative words and thoughts thrown at me during the past few years. This book is a helpful tool any stay at home mom should read.
Sharing my personal thoughts and experiences really helped me bring closure to that postpartum depression I dealt with for years. However, I have no problem answering any questions that you may have.
This self-help book is meant to help you become a stronger and better person.
I didn’t just write It takes a Break as something random for me to do. Not at all.
I put a lot of energy, time, and thought into creating this book just for YOU, the stay at home mom that’s struggling in her personal life.
What I aimed to do when writing this book was to help all of the mothers out there who are currently feeling alone. It’s for all the mothers at home, doing what they do best: Being an amazing mom and taking great care of their children.
It takes a Break is meant for stay at home moms who feel like nobody really understands what they’re going through and want/need some extra support. This tool can help you find inner peace and your purpose in life.
It takes a Break can help you get to where you need to be in life and still be happy and content raising your babies from home. There’s no reason for you to be unhappy doing your very important job.
When I became a mother seven years ago, my world was shaken and I felt like everything was new and scary. I did go through postpartum depression and when my second was born, Ella, I went through a very rough and scary premature labor.
My journey through motherhood hasn’t been easy at all and in It takes a Break I talk about how I overcame all of those trying obstacles. It’s normal that everything changes when a beautiful baby is born, but you don’t need to go through it all alone.
You don’t need to go through motherhood feeling alone.
It takes a Break is made for the busy and overwhelmed mom. A lonely, sad, angry, or upset mom.
This self-help book is made for moms who aren’t perfect and not claiming to be.
Even happy and content moms get sad and lonely too. This book is for all stay at home moms who have decided to stay at home and raise their precious babies.
You could be helping your household financially by staying home, you could just WANT to raise your babies from home, or many other reasons. There doesn’t even need to be a reason why you’re a stay at home mom and you don’t need to explain yourself to me or anyone else.
Either way, you don’t need to go through this tough journey of motherhood alone. Because motherhood is just not that easy.
Motherhood is tough, scary, beautiful, and a fulfilling journey to go through. A tiring journey but so worth it.
It’s important to have a support group around you and to feel like you are being heard while you vent and go through this journey of being a new mom. Building long-lasting friendships isn’t a bad idea either.
Because we stay at home moms know it DOES get tough. It takes a Break discusses many situations that will/have come up to you as a stay at home mom.
And this self-help book will motivate you and inspire you to feel better about yourself and your decision to stay at home with your baby. This book will help you discover your purpose in life and be happy.
That’s my hope and was my motivation and drive to complete this book. I wanted to help you be happy and gain confidence in yourself.

I’m apart of a lot of Facebook groups and none have really stuck with me. The only one I participated in until the very end was a blogger friend of mine’s Facebook group.
I truly enjoyed being in that group because I felt like I was making friends and making connections. That’s the type of group I am aiming to build here.
When that Facebook group ended, I decided I really wanted to open up a Facebook group that helps all types of bloggers and hopefully build friendships that last a long time. Subscribe too, if you haven’t yet to mrsplanahead and stay in touch.
To me, participating in a Facebook group is great and almost essential for blogging. If you have any questions through your blogging journey, there is a whole community right there online, ready to help you answer your questions and give you their personal input.
It does take a while to build a great group, we all know that. So, start by joining mine and help us grow together!!

I’m not a hundred percent sure what my new book will be about or when it will be out. I have no time frame set in mind for that right now because I’m very busy trying to maintain and grow my website.
There’s so much going on in the world right now that I am just taking it day by day. And being a website owner comes with a lot of learning and it’s a lot for one person to handle!
I truly love and enjoy being a work from home mom but that does mean I’m pretty busy! However, I don’t think I’ll ever be done writing books. This is truly a passion of mine and I find fulfillment writing and creating.
Writing books is an absolute passion of mine and I also blog randomly on medium. Medium is another outlet of mine and you can follow me there to read some new content.
I have many ideas on new books to come, but I am pretty busy running mrsplanahead. As always, this website comes first and it takes up a majority of my time.
Personally, I have always wanted to write a parenting book and also a marriage book. There are just so many ideas I have floating around constantly!!
So, we’ll see what the next book will be about. If you’re subscribed, you’ll be the first to know when it’s out.
Being a mom is one of God’s biggest callings and biggest blessings. Treasure every moment with your children and remind yourself that you are one blessed mom!
But it’s okay to feel down and alone sometimes. You’re not alone!
There are so many moms feeling just like you all over the world. And I’m one of them!
