3 helpful Bible verses for the stay at home mom.

Today I wanted to share with you 3 helpful bible verses for the stay at home mom. Despite the joy that comes with being a stay at home mom and wife, are you continuously feeling caged in? You’re dropping off your children, picking them up, scheduling and rescheduling doctor and dentist appointments, helping with homework, and giving baths to your humans.

The struggles of a stay at home mom can be hard.

Are you feeling like you aren’t FREE to do your own thing? It’s not like you can just take a day off. Of parenting? There’s no way, because you CAN’T. Parents don’t often get many breaks and even on the breaks they get at times, you are still a parent first and foremost. As refreshing as a much needed break is it is important to be able to handle parenting even when you are feeling like you’re overwhelmed and overworked. Certainly, it’s difficult but not impossible.

There are bible verses that can be helpful.

I’ve had to deal with this loss of “freedom” too. I have to say as corny as this sounds, you actually ARE free. You are in a beautiful time right now with your children. You’re blessed enough to be at home with them and watch them GROW. THIS IS FREEDOM. Even though it doesn’t always feel like it.

Despite the beauty of saying that, sometimes I need a little extra help trying to feel at peace with myself. I seek other places for more wisdom and insight that I am not receiving from myself.

The Bible is one of my favorite places to go to. Relying on the Bible to answer my most asked questions has worked very well for me all of my life. In addition, I always will need my Bible in my life to refer to throughout trying situations. You can purchase your beautiful and customizable Bible in the following link. ChurchSource.com

3 helpful bible verses for the stay at home mom.

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17.

God is freedom. Pray to Him and ask for that feeling of acceptance to come to you. Acceptance over the NOW. Acceptance over yes, sometimes mother duties DO get tedious and have you feeling caged in, like there’s no way out. Like there’s no time for yourself anymore and you’ve lost your identity. Ask him for rejuvenation once the acceptance comes. You want to be the best mom you can be for your babies. However, you also deserve to be happy. Happiness is YOUR children. And you can find a medium between the two.

“The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers from them all.” Psalms 34:19.

Asking God for help is the first step to taking away this loss of freedom feeling. He will help you. Don’t loose faith if praying one time has you not feeling ANY better. God works in mysterious ways, and you never know what miracles are in store for you. You never know what God is working on for you RIGHT NOW. Have faith, be patient, and don’t loose hope.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36.

Motherhood is a tough job, but it’s also one of God’s greatest blessings. Your children are His gift to you. I know you’re feeling caged in and overwhelmed, mama. Trust me, been there, felt that. I used to feel it all the time when I had postpartum depression. I also felt it after my second born too whenever the anxiety hit. The feeling comes back now and then but I remind myself how blessed I am that God has given me the opportunity to watch my babies grow and be there for them 24/7. Believe God can help you feel free again and He will. Accept that you’re a mama now, and you’ve changed. Your priorities have changed and they’re beautiful. They’re wonderful. You’re blessed.
